Great performances all round especially Audrey. She was very convincing in her blindness. I&amp;#39;m generally pretty suspicious of Sherlock Holmes pastiches and I avoided this movie for years because I&amp;#39;m eve more suspicious of movies that mix fictional characters with real life people, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. He&amp;#39;s one of those actors who was very highly thought of in the 70s but he does seem to be out of fashion these days.
