I wanted to tell you how much I love the idea of the Westmore Score. He's one of my favorite musical stars. What a great voice and easy manner before the camera. He's quite hard to resist and even makes movies like "Flirtation Walk" have a few good moments.

I haven't seen "Hollywood Hotel" yet, but I have seen another one with Dick and Ronnie Reagan in it. They were both in "Going Places" from 1938, which also features Louis Armstrong, Rochester Anderson, and has a killer musical number towards the end with Maxine Sullivan, one of my favorite vocalists. It also premiered the song "Jeepers Creepers". It's decent, but not fantastic. And Powell is his usual charming self.
