Netflix Instant Bad Movie Marathon This Saturday!

Wednesday, March 7, 2012

The next Netflix Instant Bad Movie Marathon is Saturday, March 10! (This is a correction from an earlier incorrect date I posted. Sorry.) This action-packed event starts at 7:30 PM Central with Double Trouble (1992), starring brothers Peter and David Jade and a host of really keen character actors. It looks completely horribly awful. Next is Deep Space, the 1988 Fred Olen Ray Alien knock-off.

Our third movie? We don't know yet! That's because you get a chance to vote on what movie you want to see for the third of the night. Right now, Corman's Humanoids From the Deep is in first place with Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury (2011) a close second, but there's tons to choose from. Click here for more info and to vote now.

Don't forget to join us on Saturday! All are welcome! Except Hitler.

...Okay, Hitler can come, too, but he has to behave himself.

Sorry to be such a dumbass, but how does this work? Do you just watch the movie and tweet about it with a hashtag of the movie title? I'm still learning this twitter thing.

I hope the pick isn't Humanoids from the Deep, because I just watched it again like 5 days ago. Also, I am probably the world's biggest (and only) Vicious Lips fan. I even have a soundtrack cobbled together from singles and VHS rips. Just thought I'd share.

Thomas, check out the About page over on the NIBMM blog. That explains everything.

Also, I case you're wondering, the event will be this Saturday, March 10th (not Friday). You'll have to forgive Stacia she's still reeling from an ongoing sinus infection.

I think she's just SO EXCITED for this thing that she's going to do it twice, once Friday going all Lone Wolf, and then again on Saturday with the Crew :D

Yes, the event is actually SATURDAY, all y'all.

And Thomas Duke, basically we watch the movies and start them at the same time and then rip on them on twitter. Use the hashtag #badnetflix so all your followers can check us all out! And fortunately if Humanoids wins, it'll be last so you'll be able to chime in on the first 2.

It's Saturday. I'll correct it.
