Too late.

Do you have a Braille edition of She Blogged By Night?

Sigh. Even the serving wench at the bottom looks glamorous.

I've seen Jewel Robbery, but I could have sworn it was called something else! I'm with MJ--maybe you should provide a Braille version.

LOVE Jewel Robbery, twin it with One Way Passage and you have the perfect double bill (no pun intended)

I agree - they double billed on TCM a year or so ago and it was like finding some lost treasure of the Incas. One Way Passage is especially mind-blowing... soo much class and chemistry and human warmth I cry just thinking about it. I just hope it's not discovered out west and remade with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, or worse.

Fabulous photos! I'm so glad that Kay is being rediscovered and appreciated by so many of us. :)

Best wishes,
Laura

Even George Brent looks good in those pictures

I wish I could go back in time and call Miriam Hopkins a "serving wench" to her face. Absolute hilarity.

Lauren, Jewel Robbery reminded me a lot of Raffles, honestly. I suspect there were several films of that era with similar plots.

I shudder to think who could be worse in a remake of One Way Passage than Brangelina. Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster, I guess.

Oops! *blushes*

No oops necessary! If anyone deserves to be mistaken for a serving wench, it is Miriam Hopkins.

I so love her. Did you ever read that chapter in "The Power of Glamour" by Annette Tapert about Kay Francis? Great book, great star.

I'm blind now. Love Kay! I've been recording every damn thing with her in it!
