Thunderbirds on TCM Wednesday night!

Monday, April 27, 2009

Thunderbirds films "Thunderbirds Are Go" and "Thunderbird 6" (both 1968) are going to be on TCM this Wednesday night at 3:00 AM Eastern time. That's really early Thursday morning, for those of you who keep "normal" "day" "schedules".

This is just more proof that TCM loves us and wants us to be happy.

This is just more proof that TCM loves us and wants us to be happy.Except that the last Thunderbirds movie ran long, which screwed up my taping of Manpower (the DVD recorder missed the ending).

"Myahhhh...where's your God now, Moses?"

Ivan - Hmm. I think your local TV schedule may have been screwed up? The movie was scheduled to end at 5:14 AM my time, and it did according to my recorded copy. If it ran long, it was only by maybe 30 seconds. "Manpower" started immediately afterwards, probably about 5:16 AM.

But the less said about all the emergency broadcast tests interrupting the movies, the better. Our local cable company has run a test once a day for 2 weeks solid, interrupting the end of about 10 films I've tried to record.
