The Amazing Technicolor Cheese Wedge

I had no idea what to call this post, and thus resorted to an MST3K joke in an effort to be "hep" and "with it".
Hope you have enjoyed the recent birthday week here on SBBN. It was just too tempting to resist posting the birthdays of 5 of my favorite actors, especially when those birthdays all fell on the same week.
So, I have a few things to blather about. Even with my recent absence (more on that in another entry) I've reached the 50,000 hits and beyond mark. It would be great if I could find out which hit specifically was the 50,000th, but I fear Google Analytics outsmarts me with embarrassing regularity.
For various reasons, I figured I should let you all know how you can get in touch with me if SBBN is down or experiencing technical problems. Part of the joy of blogging is receiving the occasional email from some really sincere person, and when I say "really sincere" I mean "fucko bazoo". You know, the kind of diphthong who makes threats about "shutting you down" and such. There's a chance SBBN might not be here if you click on it some day, and while I suspect anything like that would be very temporary, it's always good to know where to find me in case it does happen.
Backup Blog: Is at http://sbbn.wordpress.com - the formatting kind of sucks and it's not perfect, but everything gets backed up there every few days. Don't bookmark or subscribe to that site, please. Just go there if this main SBBN page goes down, as I'll post announcements there.
Twitter ID: glitterninja - I will try to start tweeting updates and announcements about SBBN here. If you have a Twitter, please let me know because I'd love to follow more people.
Email: she (at) shebloggedbynight.com or glitterninja (at) gmail.com
Blogs: I also blog at Stacia's Stuff, but only rarely and with uninteresting little tidbits. Once Dreamwidth goes live and I get an account there, I'll move all my Stacia's Stuff posts there.
That's about it. I'll have some reviews in the next couple of weeks and another blather post as well.

Ah-the Interociter, my favorite DIY project. This Island Earth is one of my favorite 50's sci-fi movies, and in Technicolor no less. Nice to see it get a little exposure, even if no one actually knows about it.
As for the rest, just keep on keepin' on as Curtis Mayfield put it so well.:-) Love your blog.
Thanks for the kind words! I love "This Island Earth" too, but sadly only have it on a German DVD which doesn't play on my computers, so I can't get screencaps. Otherwise I would have blogged it by now.
