The 2009 AMS Calendar now on sale!
Wednesday, October 22, 2008

It's that time of year! The 2009 AMS Silent Film Calendar is now on sale. And speaking of lost films, that happens to be this year's theme for the calendar, and the reason I chose this picture of a lobby card from "The Last Squadron." All proceeds from the calendar go to silent film restoration, and if that isn't enough, I can tell you that these calendars are absolutely beautiful every year. You will not be disappointed.
More details and ordering information here and a preview of the calendar is here. With a picture of "Ladies of the Mob", might I add. I swear to you that I didn't know this was the theme of the AMS calendar when I posted the most recent Monday Morning Question.
Order your calendar today!

I ordered 3 for me and as gifts. I think Rodney may have used the photo I provided for the "4 Devils" picture.
I love that in every poster from this era the cast is shown with their heads tilted back and looking off into the distance...
Thanks for the tip, one of these babies is going up in my office for sure!
